MAN & VAN — LEWISHAM
Man and Van & House Removals in Lewisham
Lewisham sits around seven miles southeast of central London, and its high street — anchored by the shopping centre and the DLR and mainline station — makes it one of the better-connected parts of southeast London. Just off the main road, streets in Hither Green and Ladywell are lined with narrow Victorian terraces built for railway workers over a century ago, many with steep front steps and no off-street parking. Further towards Blackheath and Telegraph Hill, the roads climb noticeably, which is worth planning for when you're loading a full van.
We regularly help commuter families move between the terraced streets around Ladywell Fields and first-time buyers settle into converted flats near Hither Green station. Because so many Lewisham streets are narrow, terraced and often lined with parked cars, we plan the route and any parking suspension before the day, not on it.
Removal Services in Lewisham

FAQS
Frequently Asked Questions
Our street near Hither Green or Ladywell is narrow and always full of parked cars — what do you do?
We plan for it. Most terraced streets in this part of Lewisham weren't built with vans in mind, so we scope out the road, arrange a parking suspension with the council where needed, and park as close as we safely can before we start loading.
Some roads near Telegraph Hill and Blackheath are quite steep — does that cause problems?
It's something we account for rather than a problem. The hillier streets towards Telegraph Hill and Blackheath need a bit more care with heavy items and van positioning, and our crews know these roads well enough to plan for the gradient in advance.
How far does your same-day Lewisham cover extend — does it include Catford or Deptford?
Yes, our Lewisham coverage runs across the whole SE postcode area, including Catford, Deptford, Blackheath and Sydenham, so a move that crosses these boundaries is treated as one straightforward job.
